Andre Adams
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Andre's talent for creating artwork became apparent very early on, as one of his crowning achievements included winning first place--at age 7--in the United States in a drawing contest for Cricket magazine (beating out many kids older than him). This event pretty much left no doubt for Andre as to what he wanted to be when he grew up. This passion transgressed throughout his childhood and early adult life, as Andre would often succumb to the temptations of doodling in class, missing out on practical matters, such as the quadratic equation.
Andre specializes in creating colorful, cartoony characters that have a neo-classical look, harking back to the Looney Tunes & Tex Avery era of the 40s & 50s, mixed in with some modern edginess. Highly skilled in all realms of traditional & digital illustration, Andre is always seeking to broaden his skills, as with his recent 3D and animation endeavors.
