Erla Maria Arnadottir
Erla Maria is a freelance illustrator and animator. After graduating from The Technical College of Reykjavik (Iceland) with a diploma in Art and Design, she moved to Milan (Italy) to further her education in visual arts. In 2008 she finished her BA degree in Multimedia Illustration and Animation from I.E.D. (The European Institute of Design). Since then she's been a successful freelance illustrator in several countries, including the UK and Iceland, where she's now based.
Her work often plays with sensitive subjects forcing the viewer to really think about what they are looking at. Even though you can easily spot the age appropriate difference in her illustrations, there is always something that makes you stop and think. Her passion for challenging the viewers is one of her main drive and she is constantly looking for new approaches to do that.
