Anna & Elena Balbusso
Anna & Elena Balbusso, twins from Italy, live and work in Milan. They graduated from The Brera Accademy of Fine Arts where they specialized in painting. Since 1994 they have worked as a team illustrators freelance for the publishing trade, corporating, advertising clients in Italy, France, U.S., United Kingdom, Republic of Korea. Their works have been published by major leading Italian and International publishers on book covers, in magazines, newspapers, children's and young adult books. Their artwork has been exibited in numerous exibitions and galleries in Italy and abroad. Since 2008 they are represented by the SHANNON ASSOCIATES Artists Agency based in New York. Balbussos' work has been recognized by leading trade publications and juried exibitions including Communication Arts, 3x3 The Magazine Of Contemporary Illustration, Applied Arts Magazine, the Society of Illustrators NY, American Illustration, Print European Regional Design, Bologna Children's Book Fair.
