Aaron Bihari
Born in Manhattan, Aaron was raised in an artist's loft in SoHo before either lofts or SoHo were cool. As a kid he spent uncountable hours in his mother's studio, learning from a woman now considered one of the best painters alive. He was interested in both performing and plastic arts, eventually studying physical theatre at the Evergreen School of Performing Arts in Massachusetts and choreography at Concordia University in Montreal. Aaron always kept a sketchbook on hand, however, and when he encountered a career-changing accident after university, joined a small web design house as copywriter and designer, and has never looked back. Since 1998, he has worked as copywriter for a large web design company in Montreal and art director for a small publishing house in Halifax, NS, and has been a freelance commercial artist since 2004. His clients include American Express, Reader's Digest, DHL and the Government of Canada. He is currently doing his two bits to make the world a better place through the rampant spread of senseless beauty, mostly while drawing at home by the sea in Nova Scotia.
