William Borde

William Borde, a self taught artist, began his career in the arts 12 years ago when his raw talent and enthusiasm led him through the doors at Warner Bros. Thrusted into a world of high demands and tight deadlines he thrived on the challenges and responded to the many opportunities that came along. Over the next 8 years he would create successful merchandises for the movie and music industry as well as developing dozens of private labels sold in major department stores. The first year at Warner was spent drawing, inking and learning much about the business but as he gained more knowledge he inevitably transitioned into the digital world eventually developing his own style working on a Mac using Photoshop and other software programs available at the time. Remembering those years William says; “It really was a fantastic time in my life, I was learning new things everyday. I owe much of my experience to the senior artists who helped me and provided the inspiration that was essential to push me along”. Enjoying some recognition here in the United States his designs and illustrations have appeared on posters, T-shirts, limited edition coins, etc. His art style has also crossed the boundaries of this land and has been published internationally in magazines in England and Australia. Another chapter in William’s life began when he made the decision to leave Warner to start his own design studio. IMAGINE STUDIO hit the ground running in 2004. Using the latest software and combining different medias to make the most powerful impression possible William continues to create designs for the clients with whom he developed a strong partnerships over the years. “These people have played a major part in the development of my career and I’m thankful for them.” I hope to continue creating images for many more years and most importantly to leave a legacy for my children.
