Neil Brigham

Neil Brigham began drawing at a very young age, spurred on by his kindergarten classmate’s encouraging words for his early work, “Boat in Water.” Some years later, he put aside the finger paint and crayons while he completed a Masters of Art in illustration from Syracuse University. It was there that he really learned to scribble under the guidance of David Passalacqua and Murray Tinkleman. Brigham’s exposure to guest faculty C. F. Payne, Bunny Carter, Richard Egielski, Rudy Guiterrez and others helped to shape and facilitate his growth as an artist. At present, he continues to explore the endless possibilities of creative expression as a member of the Zea Mays Printmaking Studio in Florence, Massachusetts. In 2006, his work was accepted in the Society of Illustrators 48th annual exhibition with his cd cover for the band the Marbles.
