Kirk Caldwell studied illustration at The San Francisco Academy of Art. His work has appeared in Communication Arts, American Illustration and Print Regional Annuals. Hs maps can be seen at George Washington's Mt.Vernon National Park. His bird and wildlife illustrations can be seen at The Bear River National Park Bird Refuse in Northern Utah
