Maria Cardelli Maria studied fashion and costume design at the Accademia Di Costume e di Moda in Rome. After working as a clothing and footwear designer in Italy and the US for about 12 years, eight years ago Maria decided to become an illustrator. Her work reflects her versatility and occasional eccentricity as former designer, combining various materials, textures and painting. More recently Maria's work can be viewed in the "Illustration Now" book published by Taschen. |
