Michelle Chang

Michelle Chang was born in Korea and she moved to New York City when she was seven. She studied art from early childhood and entered Cornell as a fine art major. When she graduated, she had shifted her focus to design. Michelle detoured through a career in architectural and interior design, mostly abroad. She returned to the states and obtained a second degree from The Academy of Art in San Francisco before beginning her illustration career in NYC. Michelle's work is featured in the three major award annuals: American Illustration, The Society of Illustrators and Communication Arts Illustration Annuals and is also a Silver Metal award winner from the Society of Illustrators. She had a feature write up in the 2005 Sept/Oct issue of Communication Arts magazine.
