Simon Danaher
Simon Danaher is a digital artist specializing in 3D CGI producing detailed, digital imagery and special effects for advertising, product design, visualization and fashion & beauty.
In 2007 his artwork helped Saatchi & Saatchi NY win a Gold Lion and the coveted Grand Prix in the Press category at the Cannes International Advertising Awards.
Author of 5 books on computer graphics techniques and many reviews, features and tutorials for the computer/creative press under his belt, Simon is recognized as an authority in 2D and 3D graphics. He has lectured on digital media technology in London, provided training for university faculty staff (Bristol and Sunderland, UK) and has received initiations to speak at UCL (University College London).
Interestingly Simon was approached by SAIC (Scientific Applications International Corporation) to brief high-level US government officials and the CIA at a 2006 San Fransisco conference on the use of digital technology by terrorist organizations.
