Katelan Foisy
As a teenager, Katelan and her cousin took roadtrips with no destinations. They'd end up at truck stops, coffee shops, graveyards and prisons. Katelan learned the art of collage through these trips. She called them visual journals.
Now in NY she makes her living pasting paper together for such clients as The Grammy Awards, The Progressive, Ode Magazine and Seattle Weekly as well as being one of the graphic designers for Constellation Magazine.
Katelan has also exhibited at The Worcester Art Museum, The Mae West Fest, Kelleher Art Gallery, UK. as well as an exhibit for Martin Delany at the Ohio History Museum
She still lives the gypsy life, reading tarot, pinup modeling, writing interviews and articles, and creating Day of The Dead boxes. Email her and maybe she'll invite you over for coffee, better yet, a reading. She gives a damn good reading.
