Barbara Gibson
An award-winning freelance illustrator for over twenty years, Ms. Gibson divides her professional time equally between traditional techniques and digital illustration, providing a wide variety of media and an array of subject matter that includes natural sciences, wildlife, aerospace, children, natural history, portraiture, people, sports, science fiction, cartoons and whimsical illustration. In addition her work has appeared in over fifty books for young readers, twenty-seven of which are picture books including Life's Little Fable by Patricia Cornwell, The Kissing Hand series by Audrey Penn, and N is for The Nation's Capital, as well as more than a dozen magazines. She has also produced and sold numerous designs for greeting cards, gift wrap, decorative tins and other merchandise.
