Rob Gregoretti

Rob Gregoretti grew up in Queens New York, where he attended the High School of Art and Design and the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Perfectionist is a word most often used to describe him. His pride and professionalism can be seen in his book, editorial and advertising illustrations. As a master of many media his versatility allows him the freedom to explore and use different kinds of approaches for each assignment. His style is unmistakably provocative, loose and atmospheric, evoking a sense of magic and mystery. Legendary illustrators Bob Peak and Bernie Fuchs have been a major influence on his art. He has exhibited in the historic National Arts Club with the Pastel Society of America, The American Artists Professional League Inc., and at The Salmagundi Club of New York. He is also a distinguished full signature member of the prestigious Pastel Society of America. Awards given to him by the Pastel Society of America for his RCA / BMG record album cover entitled "Yes Indeed" and the Alice B. McReynolds award which he received from The Salmagundi Club of New York for his portrait of B.B. King, attest to his reputation for excellence. His work has been published in numerous volumes of American Showcase, is in many private collections and can also be viewed at www.theispot.com, which is the premier, most visible website in the industry today.
