Jennifer Hayden
Jennifer graduated from Vassar College with a B.A in Art History. She worked as a writer for thirteen years before returning to her first passion, drawing. After her children were born she decided to pursue a career in children's illustration. Jennifer studied illustration at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan and has been an artist-in-residence at the Montgomery Center for the Arts in Skillman, New Jersey for the past four years.
Jennifer's work has appeared in Click and New Moon Magazines. She has illustrated two books for Images Press: "Marsby and the Martian Detectives"(2004) and "Liberty Cafe is Open!" (2006). She has also illustrated "Moses and the Ten Commandements" for Hooked on Phonics Bible Stories. You can also view her work on picture-book.com.
A member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, Jennifer lives in a converted barn on an old farm in New Jersey, with her husband, two children, five cats and one dog.
