Jennifer Hewitson
Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in illustration from California State University Long Beach. She is inspired by the natural world and varied cultures soaked up on long trips across the globe. Concentrating mostly on a scratchboard technique, her illustrations have appeared in many national newspapers, magazines and children's books, as well as greeting cards, advertising and calendars. Her images have been recognized and awarded by numerous organizations including Communication Arts and Print Magazines, Society of Illustrators Los Angeles, Society of Newspaper Design, Story Telling World Awards, Children's Books of The Year, and How Magazine.
Jennifer has also taught editorial illustration at Laguna College of Art and Design, and San Diego State University.
