Stephen Konz
Since 1976 I have been working as a free-lance illustrator. Over the years I have developed a distinctive style that works well in a variety of applications and media: pastel, colored pencil, acrylic, scratchboard, and computer-based rendering. The ability to remain flexible within that style has enabled me to satisfy a wide spectrum of clients. Though I have a BFA in graphic design from Southern Methodist University, I realized early on that my true joy was illustrating and solving problems through my artwork. I also enjoy teaching illustration and drawing at Seattle Central Community College where my students are a constant inspiration. When not working, I enjoy living in Seattle with my wife and daughter.
