Ron Mahoney
When his twin brother and Ron were 6 years old, they were acting up while his mother was trying to clean. She gave them both a pad of paper and pencil and told them to draw everything in the living room. Much to her surprise, they did and she had the wisdom to send them to art school. Ron has loved art ever since.
Ron is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art and the Western Reserve University in Ohio. Now a freelance illustrator and resident of Coconut Creek, Florida, he has previously been associated with studios in Cleveland, Ohio; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Toronto, Canada; and Detroit, Michigan. Ron is a member of the Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators and the Delray Florida Art League.
A creative and distinctive style in a variety of mediums has earned him numerous awards in all of the cities he has worked, and an impressive list of clients is testimony to Ron’s reputation as a commercial illustrator.
