Kim Malek
Kim Malek is an illustrator and designer living in Portland, Oregon. Her work in gouache and digital
media tells a story in a lyrical, playful and slightly quirky manner. Her work has appeared in advertising,
packaging, and corporate materials, as well as in the
food and publishing industries.
In her licensed images she seeks to inspire delight and joy by illuminating the beauty and whimsy she sees in everyday life.
Kim loves to laugh and to explore, and finds inspiration for her work from travels and her cats. She is a member
of SCBWI, and past president of the Portland chapter
of AIGA.
