Jan Meininghaus
Born 1973 in Germany, Jan spent his youth with comic-books, TV-shows like "The Dukes of Hazzard" and movies like "Bullit" and of course "Star Wars".
He began his illustration career at the age of 15 designing gig-posters and cover artwork for the bands in his hometown. From that beginning he quickly gained clients from youth culture related labels to blue chip brands aiming to reach a stylish and trendy audience.
Jans illustrative style is influenced by urban subculture and fashion, music and movies - his body of work includes fashion art, storyboard/comic illustration, concept art and design for PC-games and film.
Jan Meininghaus lives and works in Germany. He has worked for a range of clients in Europe, UK and the US.
