Jose Ortega Originally from Ecuador, he spends time in Toronto and New York. Ortega has been the subject of a number of articles and received awards from several organizations including the Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts and Graphis. Recently He was commissioned designed to design postage stamps on Latin Dance, Hershey's Kiss and Love. Public art commissions include a series of mosaic murals for two New York City subway stations and a stained glass window for the Buckingham Hotel also in New York. Jose is currently working on a mural project in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He is also co-owner of Lula Lounge - a live music and performance venue in Toronto. |
