John Roman An artist who specializes in the translation of maps, cutaways and architectural views into easy-to-comprehend illustrations. With a background in technical drawing and architectural rendering, John Roman has combined these abilities into a unique and articulate style of representing his subjects. A 2006 award-winner in both the Los Angeles Society of Illustrators and the New York Society of Illustrators annual shows, Roman was also the recipient of a 2005 award of excellence from the American Society of Architectural Illustrators, of which he is a member (see his page at www.asai.org/Illustrators/JohnRoman).
