Jackie Stafford-Snider
Jackie Stafford lives on a farm with two horses, two donkeys, 3 cats and a dog who keep her very busy. When she is not sifting kitty litter, shovelling manure, hauling hay, walking the dog and vacuuming pet hair she can be found working on one of the thousands of illustrations she has created over the past 25+ years.
After studying illustration at OCAD she began her career working three-dimensionally, later switching to water colour and finally digital art on her Wacom Cintiq. During her career she has been fortunate to work with many wonderful clients around the world. Her colorful illustrations of animals and images for young children have been used on a vast variety of projects including picture books, games, coloring books, magazines, displays, posters, t-shirts and web sites.
Jackie is obsessed with meeting deadlines and prides herself on producing consistent, high quality images. Over the years she has formed many long time relationships with clients with whom she has kept in touch. She has had lengthy contracts with several publications including More, Chickadee and Chirp Magazines where her work has been featured monthly for over two decades.
In her spare time this busy artist designs and creates one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces using sterling silver and semi-precious gemstones.
