Award winning illustrator Mark Ulriksen has worked for many of America's leading newspapers and magazines, including The New Yorker where he has been a regular contributor since 1993 with over 35 covers published. His figurative paintings often blend humor with psychological insight. He has won Gold and Silver medals from the Society of Illustrators, been profiled in Communication Arts and 3x3. He also does private commissions, kids books and lots of dog portraits. His work often gravitates towards his favorite subjects- music, dogs, politics & sports, especially baseball.
