Joan Varitek
Joan Varitek is an illustrator and visual narrator who specializes in the youth to young modern market. Her work communicates playful, tongue-in-cheek humor through use of bold linework, bright color, and dynamic compositions. Cartoon inspired and comic art influenced, she can cater to clients who want a fresh, poppy, figurative style. She works in a range of traditional and digital media. She has been praised for her flexibility and willingness to make revisions as necessary. Joan has worked on a multitude of projects, ranging from punk rock album covers to direct mail postcards promoting children's television. She graduated from Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design in 2007 and is looking to build a diverse client list and augment her portfolio.
